Kent – musician, poet and life artist. He used to be down and out, but late in life Kent finally finds some peace of mind. This film follows him as he sings his way out of homelessness and drug addiction, through relapses, friends lost and new aquaintances made.
One of the turning points in Kent’s life is when he starts attending Medis 5, an activity centre for people with light intellectual disabilities. Here he feels a sense of belonging and gets at chance to explore his love for music.
With his mesmerising deep voice and passion for cool jazz Kent slowly starts to embrace life. In the process dark memories from the past emerges, but this time he is capable of dealing with them.
