SVT's current affairs programme "Mission: Investigate" tells the story of how authorities smashed an ordinary family's life to pieces.
All parents worst nightmare became reality for Thomas and Jennie. A telephone call was all it took for the social services in a small town north of Stockholm to take their two daughters into custody, and accuse Thomas of sexually exploitation of their oldest daughter. Thomas was later acquitted in all authorities.
Reporters Nicke Nordmark and Hasse Johansson followed Thomas and Jennie for a year, looking into the accusations they were confronted with and the dramatic consequences the family had to go through. The couple tells about the despair they felt, being wrongfully accused of such a serious crime.
