Pulling Together

In the small town of Tibro, a circle of young friends set out to arrange Sweden’s biggest amateur competition in tractor pulling. This feelgood film tells the story of a close-knit group of male buddies and their love for motors and tractors. But it is also the story of breaking free and becoming an adult.

Mattias, Andreas, Erik and the others have known each other for as long as they can remember. Most of them are farm labourers and they share a huge interest in motors and mechanics.

Above all they love tractor pulling, a motor sport where you pull a heavy sled along a dirt track. The further you go along the track, the heavier the sled becomes. The goal is to make 100 meters - a full pull!

Arranging a tractor pulling event is no small thing, but the boys pour their hearts into the preparations and the result is a huge success with audience attendance breaking all records.

”Pulling Together” had a 20% share of viewing and received lots of love when aired in Sweden. The farmers boys won the hearts of the audience and the film was much talked about and shared on social media.
