The drama short The Martyr who won the Swedish Academy Awards was nominated at Prix Europa 2018 and showcased at INPUT 2019. Our programs tour festivals and forums, and are screened in co-operation with Swedish embassies across the world.

It is important for SVT to compete in international TV festivals for our content to reach a broader and international audience but also to make sure our programmes measure up to global standards.

We proactively submit entries to the leading festivals in the world, for example iEmmy, Prix Europa, Banff Rockie Awards, IDFA and more. We also submit programmes to other festivals, in particular ones supporting democracy and human rights.
